MERCEDES BENZ SEAT OCCUPANCY SENSOR EMULATOR – PASSENGER

Has your airbag or seatbelt fault light come on? Do you need to pass your MOT? We have the solution to your problem. With our seat occupancy sensor emulator (passenger) you can fix the fault yourself, economically and safely.

Compatible MERCEDES BENZ cars:

A-CLASS W169 2004-2012

B-CLASS W245 2004-2008

M-CLASS - ML (ML-CLASS) W163 1998-2005

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

The seat mat connector and the seat belt connector are located under the passenger seat. You must disconnect the seat mat connector and connect the seat mat emulator connector.

Photo 1. Disconnect and connect the emulator with 3 cables in colors: brown, red, white.

Now you can connect the seatbelt buckle emulator (two cables in blue and yellow) if your car is equipped with the seatbelt buckle unfastened warning. You should look under the seatbelt buckle and follow the black wire that runs from the seatbelt buckle to the yellow connector with blue and yellow wires (Photo 3)

Disconnect the connector. If your seat belt buckle emulator is equipped with the connector, you can connect it instead of the original seat belt buckle connector. If the emulator does not have the connector, then you must remove the wires from the original connector and replace them with the emulator connector. To replace the wires you need a screwdriver or a small knife. Place the connector to one side and lift a small plastic piece marked with a green arrow in Photo 4.

Now you must gently push a small metal part in Photo 5 and pull the cable out of the connector. Insert the emulator cable of the same color as the original cable into the connector. Once you swap both cables you can connect the connector to your car in the place where it was previously connected.

Photo 5. Gently push this small metal part and remove the blue cable. Insert the blue emulator cable. Do the same procedure with the yellow cable and connect the connector to your car.
