Warning: Do not carry babies in child seats in the front passenger seat, because in the event of an accident the airbag will always deploy and cannot be deactivated. This is a temporary solution; we always recommend replacing defective components with manufacturer-approved vehicle parts.

Instructions:

  1. Remove the key from the ignition.
  2. Locate and unplug the seat occupancy sensor connector. (Under the front passenger seat, at the rear.)
  3. Connect our emulator.
  4. Start the car.

In a few cases, the airbag fault remains stored in the control unit and must be cleared with a diagnostic tool (this usually happens if you have driven for a long time with the fault light on).
