EGR EMULATOR installation (Opel Fiat Saab Alfa Romeo 1.3 1.9 2.4) 4PIN – 5PIN
1. Disconnect the EGR valve plug
2. Connect the EGR simulator to the EGR plug. Leave the EGR valve disconnected.
3. Disconnect the air flow meter plug
4. Connect the simulator to the air flow meter
5. Connect the air flow meter plug to the simulator
If everything is correct, the controller should not report any errors in the EGR system.
If the engine fault light remains on, the faults must be checked and cleared from the ECU.
The EGR valve must be closed or blanked off
