This device is designed for diagnostic and troubleshooting use.

It allows you to easily verify if the error displayed on the dashboard is related to a faulty seat mat/occupancy sensor.

✔ If the seat mat is damaged, the error and warning light will temporarily turn off after installation.

✔ If the cause of the problem is different, the warning light will remain on.

SEAT MAT EMULATOR INSTALLATION:

1. Remove the key from the ignition.

2. Locate and disconnect the seat occupancy sensor plug. The plug is located under the passenger seat. Depending on the year and model, the type of plug may vary, but it always has three wires: red, brown, and white.

You can see some examples of plugs in the images below.

3. Connect our emulator in the same order. The red wire of the emulator to the red wire of the vehicle, the brown wire of the emulator to the brown wire of the vehicle, and the white wire of the emulator to the white wire of the vehicle.

4. Start the car.

In a few cases, the fault remains stored in the control unit and needs to be cleared with a diagnostic tool (this usually happens if you have driven for a long time with the fault light on).

PASSENGER SEAT BELT EMULATOR INSTALLATION

1. Remove the key from the ignition.

2. Locate the yellow connector (under the passenger seat). The shape of the connector may vary depending on the vehicle's year, but the color is always yellow.

3. Locate the red and black wires in the connector.

4. Disconnect the original red wire and connect the red pin of the emulator.

5. Disconnect the original black wire and connect the black pin of the emulator.

6. Leave the original wires loose.

7. Start the car.
