The seat occupancy emulator simulates the presence of a person sitting in the passenger seat. It eliminates the SRS error and turns off the airbag warning light caused by a torn seat occupancy mat. The emulator is a diagnostic device to check the correctness of the car's electrical installation and to make sure that the SRS error displayed on the dashboard is caused by a faulty seat mat. If the seat mat is torn, the SRS error and the airbag warning light will be turned off after installation. If you have a different problem with your vehicle, the SRS error and the airbag warning light will still be present.

This model incorporates an original BMW connector to simply CONNECT AND READY, without any type of soldering, or having to cut cables, etc. With this model, the original installation of the car is completely respected.
