The seat occupancy emulator simulates the presence of a person sitting in the passenger seat. It clears the SRS error and turns off the airbag warning light caused by a faulty seat occupancy mat. The emulator is a diagnostic device to verify the correctness of the car's electrical installation and to ensure that the SRS error displayed on the dashboard is caused by a defective seat mat. If the seat mat is faulty, the SRS error and airbag warning light will turn off after installation. If you have a different problem with your vehicle, the SRS error and airbag warning light will still be present.

This model incorporates an original BMW connector for simply PLUG AND PLAY, without any soldering or cutting wires, etc. With this model, the car's original installation is fully respected.
