This plate (with holes) will not be put on the "EML" - the EGR valve must work properly

Due to this blanking plate, hot exhaust gases no longer reach the intake manifold. When the oil from the crankcase breather mixes with the hot exhaust gases from the exhaust gas recirculation, it will create a few millimetres thick oil soot film in the intake manifold to the EGR valve, significantly reducing the port diameter. This reduces engine power and increases fuel consumption.
